The Honolulu Museum of Contemporary Pop also holds private evening concerts for special visitors/guest, that showcase five decades of Hawaii’s contemporary pop music history. The show entitled,“INSIDE SESSION” is showcased
on the museums special soundstage, recorded and hosted live as a radio broadcast, where guest have the opportunity to experience and enjoy the sounds & talents of recording artists performing in a unique, intimate setting.
Enjoy a legacy of hit songs that musically tell the story of Hawaii’s Pioneers of Pop.
Hosted by The Tropic Kings, a conglomerate of established entertainer/musicians, which include the HNMFoundation founding president, Kirk Thompson; original member of the legendary contemporary pop group, KALAPANA.
Evening shows include two seatings; 6:30PM and 8:30PM seating 45 to 60 seats per concert. Come and visit the Museums Studio Tour and “Pioneers of Pop Exhibit” that helps to document all the national/international achievements of 50 years of Pop.
